Architecture is one of the most demanding and rewarding disciplines to study. And this study is, indeed, a life-long pursuit that will change the way you see and experience the world. The beginning of design studios is the foundation of the professional degree in architecture, and the primary focus of the year is to establish ways of seeing, knowing and making. These methods include, but are not limited to, observational drawing, technical and analytical drawing, and modeling using both digital and analog means. Over the course of the journey, this board becomes about the fundamentals and methodology of drawings. From studies of different media, these drawings help us learn about all elements of visual art including shape, line, space, form, texture, value, and color.
